THE FANtech EXPERIENCE
The new normal sucks! We’re sick and tired of staying at home and not going to concerts, sports and other events. We need social interaction. It’s essential for our health. Research shows that having a strong support network and being part of a strong, diverse, community fosters emotional and physical health. That’s what we did before the COVID-19 pandemic. We closed our doors on the world as it slowly grinded to a halt. No concerts. No sports or other events. Just home alone.
We tried new things, binge watched old TV shows and talked on our devices with friends and family. But much is still missing. The things we once took for granted are the very things we crave and need again for our well-being. We know life will never be the same, even after the vaccines. But We need to interact with friends. We want to attend concerts, sports and other events. We just need to make life better.
THE FANtech CHALLENGE
We challenged ourselves to find a social technology solution that brings us together, while we’re still physically apart — ALONE, TOGETHER.
In fact, we did it! In simple terms, we can capture you at home, alone or with a small group of friends or family, separate you from your background at home, and then teleport you right into the crowd of an event that you choose. The 8-second clip on this page shows you three people at their own locations at the top and then you see that we teleport each of them giving them a telepresence at a concert in Romania. Wow and without airfare!!
ATTEND AND INTERACT LIVE AT CONCERTS, SPORTS OR OTHER EVENTS
Seriously, once you have a telepresence at a concert, sports or other event, whatever you do at your remote location is what you’ll be concurrently doing at the event. Once “at the concert, sports or other event, you’ll be able to see and interact with friends or other fans who are there if they are a member of the FANtech community. Depending on how their permissions are set, you can communicate using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, text, call or even Facetime. Believe it or not, we’ve made it more fun than that.
DRESS UP, GET A NEW HAIRSTYLE AND EVEN A TATOO OR TWO ALL VIRTUALLY
Next, we developed our technology on the FANtech app so that you can purchase “virtual” merchandise and accessories. You can buy a virtual t-shirt of your favorite band or performer, athlete or team. You can purchase a “virtual” tatoo. You can even purchase a “virtual” hairstyle. We can put any of these on you so that when you are at the event, your friends, other fans and yes, the performers or athletes can see you however you wish.
Look, it most likely isn’t the same as actually attending in person, but FANtech is a new social technology that enables you to attend and participate at events, while being safe at home. This is surely better than just laying on the sofa watching a livestream! With FANtech, the new normal will suck a whole lot less.
